...Actually its more like a vision journal, because its in a journal and not on a board. So, I decided to put this idea to the test after reading various self help books in the past (I was a self help book junkie). I've read the Secret, Inyanlas Vanzant's books and had my fill of Oprah but still never got round to making a vision board.
But that changed this year and I decided to give it a go. I've come to realise that it is actually, like making new year's resolution except this can cover various short or long time goals.
So I cut all the things that I felt inspired me, and what I wished for or wanted. It was a really inspiring/eye opening experience for me, because as soon as I was done and looked at it (15 pages worth) I decided to start working towards the goals. So for all its worth, it actually helps in re-emphasizing those resolutions we all give up on by February of a new year, and when its visual it starts to become real.
So, my experience so far has been good, because whenever I open my vision journal, the first thing that speaks to me or pops up is spirituality, and I'm working on that. I'm also doing more of loving, giving and sharing, but most of all I decided to join a gym and get a trainer. I feel so much better now and have loads of energy. My eating habits have also improved, and I'm living one day at a time and loving myself.
I will give an update on how its going in the middle of the year, and will also share about my convertible-mini cooper very very soon *wink* its on my vision journal BTW.
