London Fashion Week- Fashions Finest Shows

Wednesday, 28 September 2011

Sorry about the slow influx of posts from us, now we are back and ready to roll. London Fashion Week was eventful to say the least, met with some wonderful people along the way, bumped into the fabulous Stylist/ Blogger mariankihogo also worked with another lovely Stylist/Blogger Madison of  ladyofashion she was absolutely fantastic.

Fashions Finest emerging  fashion show was held at the Jewel Piccadilly. It was a more relaxed atmosphere, unlike the night before. where the more established designers showed at the Westbury Hotel London. The best from some of the collections, from my not too professional camera. For professional pics go to http://www.fashionsfinest.com/  or you can check out glowing reviews from this site http://www.theupcoming.co.uk/2011/09/19/fashion%E2%80%99s-finest-the-7-emerging-designers/
Enjoy!

Fashion Week is back!

Wednesday, 14 September 2011

Sorry, we have been away for a bit and have not been able to blog. We have been busy preparing for our fashion show which will be taking place at the Jewell Picadilly 4-6 Glasshouse Street London on the 18th of September by 8pm.

We are soooo excited about it. The Sunday show is for emerging designers and I hope to bring you the inside scoop of all the happenings during this week's shows but before then, just a few mentions on the African inspired designs/designers in New York Fashion week.

Duro Olowu's Spring 2012 ready to wear collection was called 'allure' inspired by Jamaican immigrants who came into England on a boat called the Windrush and also a mix of Nigerian influences.
